Introduction
This device is used to test the ability of fluffy fabric to quickly absorb and retain moisture from human skin, dishes and the surface of furniture. A certain amount of water is poured onto the fabric through a funnel. The fabric is fixed in a fixture. The absorbed water volume is calculated by subtracting the accumulated water volume in the lower tray from the original measured water volume.

Main application
The water absorption tester is suitable for testing the water absorption of products such as towels, face towels, handkerchiefs, bath towels, and bedspreads. It simulates the actual situation where towels absorb moisture from surfaces such as skin, dishes, and furniture to detect the water absorption performance of these products.
Operation steps
1. Connect all the connecting wires between the main unit and the constant temperature water tank. Add sufficient amount of grade 3 water to the water tank. Turn on the power of the main unit. The constant temperature water tank will start working.
2. Method A: Add 800 mL of grade 3 water to the stainless steel square box for the A method test. Place it on the slide track of the large water tank. The water level in the large water tank should not be higher than the upper edge of the box. When the temperature gauge shows the temperature to be constant at the set value, start the experiment. Place the towel sample flat on the net, slowly place it on the water surface, and simultaneously press the "timer" button to start timing. When the sample is completely soaked, press the "timer" button again to stop the timing and record the required time. Press the "zero reset" button to clear the timer. Calculate the average value of the 6 test samples.
3. Method B: Pour 50 mL (21 ± 1) °C grade 3 water into the funnel. Open the valve to pre-wet the pipeline. Then dry the countertop, tray, and collar.
4. Weigh the mass m of the tray before the test.
5. Prepare the samples according to the standard. Use the collar to level the sample on the steel ring, tighten the butterfly nut, and place it on the two fixed columns on the base panel.
6. Pour 50 mL of grade 3 water into the funnel. Switch the electromagnetic valve switch to the "start" position to open the valve. Start timing when the water flow is complete (25 ± 5) seconds later. Remove the collecting tray and weigh the mass m1. Stop the timer and press the "zero reset" button to clear the timer.
